Unlike other directories, Yellowpages.com does more local listings and advertisments than most other online information sources. Users are given local results by default based on their browser or mobile data.

Price:
There are a lot of options in Yellowpages.com, but the basic business listing is free. The free listing allows you to post basic information about a listing that will be searchable on Yellowpages.com channels. Using the online, mobile, and advertising services costs more, but the prices are lower than the major competitors.

Advantages:
Despite the large amount competition for online directories, many people still trust Yellowpages.com since it is associated with company that has been used for decades (when the company released an iOS app in 2008, it was one of the top 25 apps downloaded that year) . Yellowpages.com also has a many features that help spread information into various channels (website directory, TV apps, mobile phone apps, physical phone directory, etc.).

Disadvantages:
Because of its relative late entry into the realm of online directories, Yellowpages.com is not the most popular online directory for business. Also, as one of the few portals for small businesses to advertise locally, there is fierce competition for the top advertising spots in certain industries.
