Broad Match is one of the possible methods of keyword matching used by Google’s AdWords online advertising campaign. Broad match is less precise than exact or phrase matches, but has the advantages of bringing up more results. So, if you type in “travel London” you will get search results and sidebar ads that include offers for people traveling to London, hotels in London, travel and visitor info for England, London underground, UK tours, etc. Broad match keyword matching will bring up synonyms of the keyword, a sentence or phrase with the keyword(s) in it, keywords in any order and plural/singular versions of the keyword.
